Fun Facts About Me.

I write under the name L. L. Standage, but my first name is Amy. I'm a wife, a mom to the three best kids on earth, and a native Arizonan. I love traveling, reading, running (when I need to plot novels), eating food, getting pedicures, chatting, and hanging out with my husband. 

I got my degree from BYU-Idaho when I was thirty-four (which goes to show you're never too old), and was seven months pregnant with my third baby when I graduated.

Herbal tea, crio bru, and Diet Coke are my drinks of choice and I am a chocolate chip addict.

I'm what you call an Anglophile. I love, love, love England. The history, the architecture, the people, the authors... you guys, I even love the food. 

I can quote movies with weird accuracy. Just ask my friends who once listened to me recite the movie "Willow" from beginning to end on a road trip. Hey, we were bored!

I'm a huge nerd for shows like The Mandalorian, The Office, Parks and Rec, White Collar, Psych, Timeless, and of course my beloved period dramas like Poldark and Downton Abbey. I also love movies! From the Marvel Universe, to Lord of the Rings and from rom coms to Jane Austen film adaptations. Seriously, a movie theater is one of my favorite smells.

Authors I adore include Jane Austen, J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Sara B. Larson, Paige Edwards, Nichole Van, Tricia Levenseller, Traci Hunter Abrasion, Brandon Mull, and many others.

Also... I've never eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in my life. True story.
